PostNet Store In Natomas To Close

THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz

The PostNet store in Natomas will close at the end of this month.

Husband-and-wife team Allyn and Noel Martin recently announced they will shutter the franchise opened in January 2002, citing uncertainty in the small business landscape.

Like many small business owners in Natomas, the Martins said their operation has struggled during the economic recession.

PostNet is known for its mail, print and notary services. It is located in the Park Place shopping center at 4660 Natomas Boulevard in Suite 120 and currently employs one part-time and two full-time employees.

Over the years, PostNet has donated products and services to several Natomas-area schools and community groups.

The Martins said talks are underway that could see a business take over PostNet’s location and offer similar services, including mailbox rentals.
Noel Martin served as president of the Natomas Chamber of Commerce from 2009-2010.
