The lady Tigers, playing without leading scorer Sakara Brewer made easy work of Woodland High School with a 65-36 win at home Wednesday, Jan. 16. 

Five Inderkum High School players scored at least nine points each (11-8, 2-0 TCC). Bailee Bernard lead the Tigers with 11 points and freshman Shymir Mitschan-Baldwin had a near triple-double with 10 points, seven rebounds and nine steals.

Head varsity coach Phillip Hampton rested Brewer in hopes of having the senior at full strength on the road Friday, Jan. 18 against River Valley High School. Both River Valley and Inderkum are 2-0 in league play and are the only undefeated teams in the Tri-County Conference.

Natomas High School girls basketball: The Nighthawks lost to River Valley High School 67-36 Wednesday night.

Ashley Davis led Natomas High with eight points and sophomore Halle Hamre and Hayley Polk chipped in with seven points in the loss. Natomas (2-12, 1-1 TCC) head out on the road at Pioneer (0-14, 0-2 TCC).

The Nighthawks beat Pioneer in a non-league game 55-48 on Jan. 3.
