Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has filed a development application to remodel the former Long John Silver’s on Northgate Boulevard.
According to city records, the project at 3298 Northgate Blvd. will require a minor modification of zoning at the location, due to the Northgate Special Planning District. Currently, no new drive-thru permits are allowed, per the Northgae Special Planning District guidelines.
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a fast-casual eatery known for its New Orleans-inspired spicy fried chicken and other southern comfort foods. A Popeyes has operated in the Discover Plaza shopping center, at 1500 W El Camino Avenue in Natomas since 2019, however the location does not have a drive-thru.
