Natomas Cops Log – July 10, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting July 9, 2015:

15-195230 (Assault): 3400 block of Beretania Way at 1933 hours.
Officers responded to a family disturbance involving a firearm. The gun was located by responded officers and seized as evidence. The suspected family member who brandished the weapon was not on scene upon officers’ arrival.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 8, 2015:

15-193515 (Disturbance): 1500 block of Waterwheel Dr at 1215 hours.
Officers responded to multiple calls of a large physical altercation and reports of gunfire in the area. Fortunately, it was determined that no one was struck during the shooting. Rapid follow up was completed and detectives will continue to follow up with locating the suspected shooter.

15-193978 (Hit and Run): 1800 block of Zurlo Way at 1927 hours.
Officers responded to a hit and run accident involving a child on a bicycle. The vehicle left the area after striking the bicyclist who sustained minor injuries. Read More

Incidents are from shifts starting July 7, 2015:

15-192845 (Robbery): 2800 block of Del Paso Rd at 1834 hours.
The victim agreed to buy a cell phone after arranging a meeting in a shopping center parking lot. The suspect pulled 200 dollars from the victim’s hand and ran off with the cash and phone. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 20 to 30 years old.
