A letters-to-Santa campaign raised $2 million for non-profit Make-A-Wish, according to a recent post on social media.

During the holiday season Macy’s and Make-A-Wish teamed up again for the seventh year of the “Believe” campaign.

Beginning in November 2014, believers of all ages delivered letters to Macy’s stores addressed to Santa at The North Pole, and dropped it into the special letterbox.

For each letter received, Macy’s donated $1 to Make-A-Wish.
