Couple Identified from Natomas Murder-Suicide

Update:
The Sacramento County Coroner has released the names of the couple who died as the result of a murder-suicide yesterday in Natomas.

County records show Ronald Coursey, 49, and Alyssa Williams, 35, died as the result of the incident on the 100 block of Jade Tree Circle. The Sacramento residents had been in a long term relationship which had recently ended, according to police.

Friends and family have taken to social media to express their sadness and shock over the incident, and posting photos of the pair.

Update:
Sacramento police officers responded to the 100 block of Jade Tree Circle at 8:55 a.m. This morning on a report of a subject with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers arrived on scene, entered the home and found two subjects inside with gunshot wounds; one appeared to be self inflicted, according to a press release issued by the police department. Sacramento Fire Department arrived and declared both the female victim and male suspect dead at the scene.

Police said a preliminary investigation has found the suspect and the 35-year-old victim were in a longterm dating relationship which had recently ended.

Police said the 49-year-old suspect went to the house he and his former girlfriend had been living in, entered the home and after a short time fired multiple rounds at her before turning the gun on himself.

Police said five family members, including two children, were in the house at the time of the incident. None of five were injured.

Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene to assist with the investigation. Law Enforcement Chaplains also responded.

Sacramento police spokesperson Michele Gigante has confirmed two people are dead as the result of a murder-suicide about 9 a.m. this morning on the 100 block of Jade Tree Circle.

Police confirmed officers found bodies of two deceased adults in the 100 block of Jade Tree Circle, “possibly stemming from a family dispute,” according to a post on Twitter.

Update:
Sacramento Police were called to a home on Natomas Crossing at about 9 a.m. this morning. Multiple officers and CSI are on the scene. Additional info will be posted once CONFIRMED by police.
