Sacramento Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby will host a second annual overnight tomorrow at North Natomas Community Park.
Area families are invited to bring tents, sleeping bags and snacks and snooze under the stars in the park from 8 p.m. Friday, July 19 to 8 a.m. Saturday, July 20.
Evening activities will include a bonfire to roast marshmallows, ghost stories and a camp singalong. Breakfast will be provided by Walmart, one of the event sponsors
The overnight will take place in the park closest to Cagney Way and Crest Drive, in Natomas. The event is free and open to the public.
