IHS_TigerThe Inderkum High School boys soccer team will host a skills and workout camp next week for those interested in playing during the 2013-14 school year.

Tiger varsity head soccer coach John Torres and junior varsity coach Kenyon Hill will lead the workouts which are intended for high school-age students who want to try out for the boys’ teams.

Camp is scheduled start Monday and run July 1-15. The final session will be held on July 15.

Each workout will run about two hours long. Sessions are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on the turf field at Inderkum High School, 2500 New Market Drive.

The soccer camp is a chance for new and returning players to make an impression on coaches before team tryouts. The workouts are also a chance to improve and polish skills needed to participate on the school’s 2013-14 soccer teams.

Camp participants will be evaluated by the coaches and have a chance to learn their coaching styles. Participants should bring a ball, wear soccer cleats and bring water.

Soccer tryouts begin after school on August 15 for both the boys’ junior varsity and varsity teams.

For more information about the soccer camp workouts, contact Coach John Torres at (916) 804-5735.
