At about 5:22 p.m. today a three-vehicle crash occured at the intersection of Natomas Boulevard and West Elkhorn Boulevard.
Sacramento police, fire and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene. It was not know whether injuries were sustained as a result of the accident.
West Elkhorn Boulevard was closed as the result of the accident and it was not known how long the closure would remain in effect.
At about 6:30 p.m. the intersection was nearly cleared and traffic moving in at least one direction on West Elkhorn Blvd.
