Natomas Bites: Sushi Elite Delights

THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz
Hard-core sushi fans, we decided to try out the new Natomas sushi spot, Sushi Elite
We’re both big fans of Kobe, but were willing to give this place, located in the former Daphne’s Greek Restaurant, a shot.

Happy we were. There are multiple stars here.
The first is the seamless  customer service from the minute we hit the door until the moment we left.
While the roll selection is not as robust as Kobe’s, the sashimi options are the best we’ve seen in the area. We tried a mix of rolls, sashimi, and nigiri sushi.
Another star:  the fresh, fresh, fresh fish with very generous portions that made recalled the early days at Oshima. The butter fish, something neither of us had tried before, wins the award as the surprise delight of the night.

Rong, who talked about the food with knowledge and passion, was happy to make recommendations for our next visit, and there will be a next visit after this outstanding experience at the small, quaint kind of restaurant Natomas needs.

With many non-alcoholic and delicious beverage options, we can hope that they will get a beer and wine license sometime in the future.
Sushi Elite is located in the Park Place II shopping center at 4740 Natomas Blvd., Suite 100, (916)  263-9188.
