Natomas Landing & Natomas Retail In Pictures

The City of Sacramento is circulating plans for the proposed Natomas Landing project on the northeast corner of Del Paso and El Centro roads.

Natomas Landing is planned as a mixed-use development designed to include both retail and office space, across the street from Walgreens.

As planned, the northern portion of the 69.5-acre site would include offices, assisted living, educational uses and support retail. The southern portion is proposed for shopping center commercial uses meant with nationally known large- and medium-format retail stores as well as a pedestrian scaled village setting of smaller, locally-based dining establishments and shopping boutiques.

In order to proceed, the project will need approval of a general plan amendment, North Natomas Community Plan amendment and zone change for the site. The city seeks comments from nearly two dozen north-area community groups.

To find out more, or to submit public comment (by the Feb. 29 deadline), contact project manager David Hung at 808-5530 or e-mail.
