New School District Holds Second Summit

The new Twin Rivers Unified School District is scheduled to host its second in a series of community summits this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at Grant High School, 1400 Grand Ave.

The proposed schedule is as follows:

  • Noon-1 p.m. Lunch and student performances.
  • 1-2 p.m. Information about the new district and the future needs of our students.
  • 2-4 p.m. Begin a “visioning” process, whereby participants share their values and beliefs about the practices of the new district.

    • Childcare and translators available.
