City officials have confirmed a HomeGoods is slated to open a new location in Natomas.
The new store will be located in the Natomas Marketplace shopping center at Interstate 80 and Truxel Road. It will occupy the 23,838 square-foot space which housed Michaels prior to its move to the Sacramento Gateway shopping center in February 2019.
HomeGoods is a brick and mortar chain of discount home furnishing stores headquartered in Framingham, MA. It is a subsidiary of TJX Companies along with TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
City councilmember Angelique Ashby, District 1, announced the addition of the retailer at a town hall meeting held tonight, April 15 in Heritage Park.
