Natomas Cops Log, July 24, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting July 23, 2015:

15-209435 (DUI): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 0047 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the above area when they were hailed regarding a possible drunk driver. Officers contacted and safely detained the driver. After a series of field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.


15-209462 (Bait Bike Activation): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 0142 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding the report of a bait bike activation. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located the suspect in possession of the bike. The man was safely detained and ultimately arrested for grand theft, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.


15-209548 (Deceased Subject): 700 block of Northfield Dr at 0746 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding the report of an unresponsive male adult. Fire personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the man deceased. The coroner was summoned to the scene and determined no foul play appeared to be a factor.


15-209664 (Burglary): 2500 block of Maybrook Dr at 0959 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary. The victim was home when a male suspect forced entry into the residence by breaking a glass door. The man fled prior to officers arriving on scene. No injuries were reported. The investigation remains active.


15-210400 (Robbery): 4800 block of Natomas Blvd at 2308 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. The victim was in the area when he was approached by a man armed with a gun. The suspect stole the victim’s property and fled. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area for the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

15-208149 (Family Disturbance): 800 block of Potomac Ave at 1920 hours.
Officers responded to the above residence regarding a disturbance. The victim was holding her infant when she was struck by a known subject moving his vehicle. No injuries were reported. The driver fled prior to officers arriving on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
