Natomas Cops Log – May 11, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting May 10, 2015:

15-130233 (Suspicious Subject): 3500 block of Northgate Blvd at 0129 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a ringing alarm. The witness reported seeing a suspicious person who had been attempting to break into property within the business, but was not successful. The suspect reportedly fled in a dark smaller vehicle and nothing was taken. Follow-up will be conducted and a report was generated.


15-130261 (Burglary): 5400 block of Birk Way at 0219 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report pf a burglary. While at home, residents woke up to the sounds of loud noises and glass breaking. It was determined that an unknown suspect attempted to enter the residence, but was not successful. The suspect fled on foot from the area prior to police arrival and a report was generated.


15-129597 (Robbery): Tanzanite Ave / Bilsted Way at 1132 hours.
The victim responded to an on-line add attempting to buy a video game console. Three men in their 20s robbed the victim at gunpoint taking his cash and backpack. No injuries were reported.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 9, 2015:

15-129420 (Burglary): 1800 block of N Bend Dr at 0345 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. The victim was reportedly awakened by the sound of a door closing and observed that her home had been burglarized with property taken. A report was generated and follow-up was conducted.


15-129272 (Disturbance): 3200 block of Belmont Way at 2357 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a disturbance. It was determined that a subject had assaulted his neighbor with a blunt object. Officers made contact with the suspect and arrested him for assault.


15-129012 (Domestic Violence): 3500 block of Rancho Rio Way at 1929 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence. It was determined that the suspect assaulted the victim and fled from the area. He was later located and arrested for domestic violence.


15-129097 (Domestic Violence): 100 block of Stonepine Ct at 2108 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence. The victim was reportedly assaulted by her husband following a verbal altercation. He was contacted and arrested for domestic violence.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 8, 2015:

15-128254 (Medical Aid): 400 block of Winterhaven Ave at 2353 hours.
Officers responded to the above address regarding a ringing alarm. Medics were on scene prior to officers arriving. The male victim had fallen and was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. After further investigation, it was determined no foul play was a factor in this incident.


15-127896 (SSTOP): American Ave / Peralta Ave at 1748 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the area when they attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle. The man fled from officers and a pursuit ensued. Officers caught up with the man who attempted to assault officers with his bicycle. Officers deployed their CED device, but it was ineffective and the suspect fled. Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate the man. A report was generated.
