Teen Cyclist Hit by Vehicle in Natomas

A 14-year-old cyclist was hit by a vehicle this morning in Natomas.

At about 7:43 a.m. today, Feb. 3 a male juvenile cyclist was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Fredericksburg Way and North Park Drive, Sacramento police spokesperson Officer Michele Gigante said. The boy is a student at Heron School nearby.

Multiple people stopped to assist the cyclist who suffered minor injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center, Gigante said.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained on the scene.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, Gigante added.
