An overturned vehicle visible from the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Wednesday evening was the result of reckless driving.
According to police, the accident occurred at about 5:18 p.m. Feb. 19 in an undeveloped area of Natomas, near East Commerce Way and Natomas Crossing Drive (see map).
Sacramento police spokesperson Officer Doug Morse said the overturned vehicle had been driving recklessly in the residential area before it overturned and came to rest upside down. The car had not been driving on the adjacent freeway prior to the crash.
Morse said no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed away from the scene.
