Sacramento Police seek the public’s help identifying a man suspected of indecent exposure at the Wal-Mart in Natomas last month.

Contrary to reports by other media, the incident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Wal-Mart store on Truxel Road, in the Natomas Marketplace shopping center.

According to a police press release, the suspect was observed by Wal-Mart security via camera masturbating while he walked behind another customer. The man reportedly walked behind the female customer several times during the incident.

Police said Wal-Mart store security attempted to make contact with the suspect, but that he left the store before they were able to do so. According to police, the suspect was observed possibly leaving the scene in a light-colored, two-door vehicle.

The man is described as a white male adult in his early 20s, heavy set, with mustache and straight shoulder length hair. Police this week released photos of the suspect taken from surveillance video in hopes of identifying him.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this incident to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
