The “Authors of Our Own Destiny” interactive sculpture has been used to promote community events, ask out prom dates, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and more.
The current design was painted by Natomas resident Elena Quintero to celebrate both her son’s 18th birthday today, Oct. 9 and his entry into the U.S. Air Force later this month on Oct. 29.
