Natomas High Plays Host to Foreign Exchange Students

Natomas High School this fall has welcomed three foreign exchange students from around the world adding to the campus’ cultural diversity.

THE NATOMAS BUZZ asked these students from Brazil, China and Italy why they decided to study in the United States and what they hope to gain from the experience.

Julia Fagundes, 16, a junior from Brazil also plays on the school’s tennis team.

“I decided to come for the new friends and the great time!”

Federica Zotta, 17, a senior from Italy.

“(California culture is) very interesting to me, and I love learning”

Kaiting Liai, 16, a junior from China participates in Mesa, Asian club, jazz band, and the golf team.

“The people here are great as are the staff.”
