Natomas youngsters in Girl Scout Daisy Troop #337 recently painted the “Authors of Our Own Destiny” interactive sculpture as part of earning their “Make the World a Better Place” petal.
The girls took turns and when they weren’t painting, they picked up trash in the area.
“We hope we made the world a better place by putting a smile on those passing by,” troop leader Beth Mahony said.
