Sacramento Police have two men in custody on suspicion of burglarizing a home in north Natomas earlier today.

The arrests came as the result of a manhunt during which law enforcement used both K-9 units to search door to door and helicopter air support.

Police responded to a home burglary call on the 100 block of Kitaj Court at about 3 p.m. today.

Eye witnesses reportedly saw three suspects. One was arrested and two others fled on foot into Heritage Park, a gated senior community, nearby.

A perimeter was set up in Heritage Park. A second suspect was apprehended with assistance by a K-9

At press time, police remained on the scene searching for the third suspect.

  1. I guess this is how the police react to a robbery if you live in a nice area of Natomas. When we were robbed, they couldn’t have cared less and basically told us they didn’t have time or manpower to do anything and that our file would be at the bottom of the stack. Clearly we live in the wring area of the city,
