“It’s not the ideal, but it’s completely functional,” Little Caesars Pizza supervisor Jessie Singh said. “We’re serving pizza.”

A call came in at about 3:30 a.m. Friday, June 7 from the store’s alarm company that multiple sensors had all been tripped, Singh said.

That’s when three suspects – as seen on security surveillance footage – used a white pickup truck to crash through the restaurant’s tempered glass front doors and steal the safe. Video footage shows the burglars were in the store and gone within 1 minute and 20 seconds.

The Sacramento Police Department reports the suspects are described as three male adults, race unknown.

Singh said the storefront is now covered with plywood while new doors and tempered glass are on order.
