Members of the famous Harlem Globetrotters visited Westlake Charter School in Natomas on Thursday, Jan. 17.
The traveling basketball team talked to students about their “ABC” program which encourages young people to put a stop to bullying through Action, Bravery and Compassion.
Some students were invited onto the basketball court and tossed the ball with the Harlem Globetrotters to the team’s whistled theme-song “Sweet Georgia Brown.”
The Harlem Globetrotters are scheduled to perform at Sleep Train Arena 1 p.m. on Jan. 21.
