The Piece of Mind Bead and Jewelry Studio will move out of Natomas and relocate downtown.

In a weekly electronic newsletter to customers, store owners Gretchen and Matthew Schueller on Thursday, Dec. 27 announced plans for the store to move to a new space at 10th and R streets.

“It’s an exciting area full of art studios and lots of energy,” the message read. “We’re going to change the look of the store a little, and the focus of the store a little, but I can assure you it is all for the better.”

According to the store’s website, Piece of Mind was the name of Gretchen’s beaded jewelry line, started in 1987.

The Schueller‘s idea behind Piece of Mind Bead and Jewelry Studio was to provide beaded jewelry makers somewhere they could find new and unusual pieces to work with, as well as offering basic beads and materials. Classes are also offered on site.

Piece of Mind Bead and Jewelry is currently located in the Arena Marketplace II shopping center at 4321 Truxel Rd., in Suite F4. The small strip mall also features a Curves gym, Kumon tutoring center, ethnic food markets and restaurants.

A timeline for the store’s move wasn’t available at press time.
