This purebred German Shepherd found near the intersection of Northgate Boulevard and Del Paso Road in June.
“Raya” was extremely thin, full of ticks, and pregnant. The dog gave birth on July 19 and all puppies her have been placed.
“Now she needs a fur-ever family,” Tiffany Millen writes THE NATOMAS BUZZ.
The veterinarian estimates Raya is three years old. She is great with kids, other dogs and cats, and travels well, according to Millen.
“She loves to go wherever you are going,” Millen added. “She loves people and doesn’t like being home alone for extended periods. She would make a great companion.”
