Northgate Pizzeria Owner Arrested For Lewd Acts With Minor

The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 42-year-old John Julian Martinez for furnishing marijuana to and committing lewd acts with a minor at his business, Royal Pizza.

Police received information from a community member that Martinez was using his business, Royal Pizza located in the 2200 block of Northgate Boulevard, as a means to entice juvenile females so he could subject them to sexual behavior.

Detectives conducted an extensive investigation into this allegation and confirmed that Martinez was in fact involved in eliciting sexual behaviors from juvenile victims for the promise of marijuana. He displayed lewd conduct while at his pizza parlor in addition to touching multiple female juveniles in a sexual manner.

Police believe Martinez has been engaged in this behavior since he opened his business approximately two years ago. Detectives are asking anyone who may have been approached by Martinez to contact law enforcement.
