Both Natomas-area high schools are offering their athletes a convenient, low-cost way to get physical exams required to play sports.

Starting at 5:30 p.m. today, August 2, students can get physicals for only $20 at Inderkum High School.

Dr. Patrick Lau and Dr. Steve Hwang from Natomas Family Practice Inc. will be performing today’s physical exams.

“It is a low cost option for getting a sports physical here in the community,” vice principal Ken Durham said.

Next week, Boomer Medical Clinic will perform physical exams 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for four days, August 6-9, at Natomas High School.

“There will be two doctors here in the morning, with one staying into the afternoon if necessary,” said Anthony Agrella, Natomas High atheletic director.

The physicals at Natomas High also cost $20 each with the clinic donating $5 back to the school’s athletics programs.
