On Stage In Natomas: Much Ado

THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz

William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” takes the stage tomorrow, March 22 in Natomas.

Students from Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy present the “merry war” of words between Benedick and Beatrice as they both talk a mile a minute about their scorn for love, marriage, and each other. In contrast, Claudio and Hero are sweet young people rendered speechless by their love for one another.

Through gossip and eavesdropping, Benedick and Beatrice are tricked into confessing their love for each other, and Claudio into rejecting Hero at the altar. Rick Gott directs this classic from the Bard.

“Much Ado About Nothing” performances are 7 p.m. March 21-24 and March 28-30. A student rush show is 4:15 p.m. on March 28.

Pre-sale general admission tickets cost $10 and $8 for students and seniors. At the door general admission is $15 and $13 for students and seniors.

The Black Box Theatre is located, 4600 Blackrock Road. Click here to buy tickets.
