The dog found this morning at the North Natomas dog park was reunited this evening with her owner.
Natomas resident Kristie Ehhardt found the dog in the park and, responding to a NATOMAS BUZZ post on Facebook, Tracy Schweiger volunteered to foster the dog while efforts were made to find the owners or a new home.
When Schweiger took the dog to Natomas Animal Medical Center to check for a microchip, she ran into the dog’s owner who was dropping off a “lost dog” flyer. (Incidentally, the owner had also contacted THE NATOMAS BUZZ trying to find her dog.)
A very happy ending for Firefly!
