Filming continues today at Stony Hill Place, off East Commerce Way in Natomas, where the DYI Network is shooting an episode of its popular “Turf War” program.
In “Turf War” neighbors battle to win $10,000 and title of the best yard on the block by show host and landscape contractor Ahmed Hassan.
Two teams, each led by Hassan’s landscape experts, use the same batch of materials and the same time frame to transform their yards into spectacular outdoor spaces.
Hassan offers advice and often jumps in to help with the work. With input from neighbors, he decides who got a better result from their efforts.
“Turf War” viewers get to watch both transformations and see the end results. Filming started Friday.
