IHOP Fight Turns Deadly In Natomas

Sacramento police are investigating an early-morning shooting that left a 27-year-old dead in Natomas.

At 2:40 a.m. this morning, officers received a call someone had been shot outside the IHOP restaurant located at 2941 Advantage Way, off East Commerce Way. Officers arrived to find a 27-year-old man who had been shot; he was declared deceased at the scene.

Based on the preliminary investigation by homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators, it is believed two groups of people got into an argument inside the restaurant. The argument moved outdoors, where it escalated and the victim was shot. Suspects in the case are described as two black men in their 20’s about  5’8″ to 5’10” tall.

This restaurant been an unsafe place during late hours, my daughters tires got slash a few months ago without reason,a group of men was outside when they left and didn’t notice the tires til she got home. We reported it to the police as IHOP has video cameras in the front, til now nothing came out of the investigation.

  2. It apparently turned worse when mourners attacked a news crew today that was covering the story. So sad…
