The North Natomas Transportation Management Association is making one last push to collect donated bicycles by Feb. 15. To date, 32 have been collected.
The donated bikes will be repaired, tuned up and given to North Natomas school students just in time for May is Bike Month. The goal: to encourage more students to ride their bikes to school, friends’ houses, and run errands.
The North Natomas TMA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return.
