Be On The Look Out For Assault Suspect In Natomas

Natomas residents are being asked to be on watch for a man who reportedly assaulted a teenage girl last night.

The sexual battery incident occurred at about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday when the 15-year-old girl was walking on Truxel Road midway between San Juan and West El Camino and a man grabbed her buttocks. The girl ran from the suspect.

“He did not make any other comments or attempt to kidnap the victim,” Sac PD Capt. Jim Maccoun wrote in an e-mail alert to Natomas residents.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-feet 6-inches tall and heavy build wearing a white jacket, white shirt and white pants. The suspect was seen initially walking away from a white 1990s Toyota Camry, but police do not know whether the vehicle was connected to the suspect.
