Sacramento County elections officials on Thursday released updated election results.
The results include ballots damaged or torn which needed to be duplicated. Not included in this update were Provisional ballots which will be released next week.
The county’s website shows 12,991 total votes cast in the District 1 election to represent Natomas, downtown and Old Sacramento on the City Council – accounting for about 30 percent of the 44,220 registered voters who live in the area.
