The weather was beautiful and energy level buzzing at the first-ever Natomas Duck Pluck Festival held over the weekend at the Natomas Charter School campus.
Event organizers report the fundraiser a success with an estimated 3,000 community members attending. Several Natomas Unified School District schools and programs participated with carnival-style activities, on-stage performances, and a three-on-three basketball tournament.
Three “lucky ducks” won Duck Pluck Raffle prizes of $10,000, $2,000, or $1,000.
