The Natomas Unified School District has scheduled a series of meetings at three area campuses identified for possible closure:
February 16 – 6:30pm – NPE Multipurpose Room
February 18 – 6:30pm – Bannon Creek
February 23 – 6:30pm – Jefferson Elementary
If your child attends Natomas Park Elementary, then PLEASE get off your buts and attend this meeting. The district needs to see a VERY LARGE turnout and here how we feel about potentially loosing our school. PLEASE ATTEND!!!!!!!!!!!!
The news reported last night there was a school board meeting and the choices were now NPE or BC. Is that accurate?
No it is not.
The list presented to the board last night was Bannon Creek, followed by Natomas Park and Jefferson.
Community meetings will be held at of those schools per this post and the board will hold a workshop Feb. 24 during which they are legally allowed to discuss the schools on the list.
Their decision is slated for the March 10 board meeting.
