In June 2009, the new Sons of Italy Lodge “Milano” No. 2854 in Natomas was started by Daena Biondi, Jay Minchilli, Linda Desiante.
The new non-profit group is helping support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California by hosting a fundraiser with Straw Hat Pizza, 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 11. A portion of the day’s sales will benefit the Foundation.
The Order Sons of Italy in America is the largest and longest-established national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States.
