A NATOMAS BUZZ reader let us know that Curry Corner opened last week next door to Bella Bru. The buffet-style restaurant takes up residency in the spot formerly occupied by a series of Mexican eateries.
Curry Corner is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The buffet changes two to three items every day and also boasts a take-out menu.
In other news, the 524 Mexican resturaunt is slated to move north to a new building right behind the IHOP at Northgate and Interstate 80. Hopefully, this will translate into more business for the local favorite with the proximity to the freeway and newer location.
I can’t remember if you posted already but Chang’s Chinese opened a 2nd location in the old Pick Up Stix!
We really love 524 Mexican. Good food, very affordable, nice owner, and not a chain. And now it will be a little closer! Yes!
The lunch buffet at Curry Corner was yummy and the Nan (bread) is worth a visit in itself. BAS

We had take-out from Curry Corner the other night…OMG is was soooo good! And the owner, Rakesh Sharma, is very nice and so very thankful for the Buzz they are getting. Also, Mr. Sharma made a donation for the Heron PTSA Black & White Gala, without a second thought. THIS is the type of business we love!! Great food, great atmosphere, great management, and fantastic sense of community involvement!! Thanks to the Buzz for giving me a heads up about Curry Corner, and thanks Mr. Sharma for your fabulous food and generous donation!!
