The City of Sacramento Department of Utilities will soon being construction of a new water main project in the north area.
A new 36-inch diameter water main will be built in Del Paso Road/Main Avenue from Blackrock Drive to Rio Linda Boulevard. The $3 million capital improvement is expected to create a more reliable water system. Project completion is expected by July 2010.
In an effort to keep disruption of day-to-day activities in the neighborhood to a minimum, the city will require contractors perform work during reasonable hours, including weekends and maintain a dust and noise mitigation program. Questions or concerns? Call 808-5454
