Looks Like Crime Is Down

Looks like crime was down in January 2008 compared to the same period last year, according to these reports provided by the Sacramento Police Department for comparison purposes.

“For January 2008 there was a reduction in the category of Robbery, Assaults, Burglary (significant reduction) and thefts. Hopefully we will continue to see these numbers drop as we work together on quality of life issues in Natomas,” writes north command Capt. Jeff Schiele.

Let’s hear it for Neighborhood Watch, private security patrols, and an increased police presence — keep up the good work!
