Brandon M. Black, constituent affairs coordinator for Mayor Pro Tem Angelique Ashby replied:

“We reached out to the County on this one. They informed us of two locations where folks can get sandbags. At both locations bags and sand are available but you must bring your own shovel and there is a 20 bag limit.”

The locations are:

Sacramento, CA 95827

Sacramento Metro Fire Station 112
6801 34th Street North Highlands, CA 95660

Added –> The city is now offering two self-service locations where sandbags can be picked up at no charge, after 2 p.m. today, Dec. 10:

North Area Corporation Yard
918 Del Paso Rd.
at the Kenmar Road yard entrance
