Natomas Cops Log – August 27, 2014

Incidents are from shifts starting August 26, 2014 :

14-239237 (Assault): N Bend Dr / Blackrock Dr at 8 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence. The suspect reportedly threatened his girlfriend with a gun before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported and the suspect is still outstanding.


14-239820 (Suspicious Vehicle): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 6:41 p.m.

Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in the area. The sole occupant exited the vehicle very quickly and acted very suspicious. During a search of the subject, officers located a firearm on his person. The suspect was arrested for possession of a firearm.


14-239981 (Attempt Robbery): 2000 W El Camino Ave at 9:13 p.m.

Officers responded to the location regarding an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that no property was taken from the victim and that the victim sustained a non life-threatening injury. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving. An investigation is in progress.


14-239461 (Vandalism): 3800 block of Rosin Ct at 12:16 p.m.

Officers responded to an area hotel after employee’s located vandalism inside a room. There was bias-motivated and gang graffiti written on interior walls of a room. Employees discovered the graffiti after a guest had checked out. A report was generated and the investigation ongoing.
