Cops Seek Help IDing Natomas Stun Gun Robbers

The Sacramento Police Dept. seeks the public’s assistance in helping to identify suspects who have used electronic stun guns in a series of robberies.

The suspects targeted women in public parking lots in Sacramento on Dec. 29-30, including one incident in Natomas. The suspects use stun guns to assault the victims and take their property.

The Natomas incident occurred in the Natomas Marketplace shopping center on Dec. 29. The victim was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by a female suspect and assaulted with either the suspect’s fist or a stun gun. The victim was knocked down, the suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and fled in an older white sedan and left the area.

Two similar robberies occurred Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 in parking lots located off Florin Road. In both incidents, the suspects used stun guns on the victims before taking their property.

The suspects are described as black females in their mid-teens and a heavy-set black male. The suspects are possibly driving a white Dodge Neon.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this shooting to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
