Sacramento Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby kicks off her annual summer of fun tomorrow, May 31 with a movie night in Natomas.

Natomas at Nite will be showing the animated movie “Wreck-it-Ralph” 8 p.m. at the North Natomas Community Park, located at Crest and Cagney. “Madagascar 3” will show June 21 and “The Avengers” on August 2.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks. Free waters, popcorn and glow bracelets will be provided during the movie.

At the event, kids will be able to pick up their “Passport for Play.” Kids can complete their passport during the summer months by participating in activities, and then bring it to the “Summer Sunset Party” 6 p.m. on August 15 for a Natomas night at Fairytale Town. Each child who completes their passport will receive a prize pack.

Natomas families may visit the Vice Mayor’s website for a list of summertime activities such as movies in the park, an overnight camp out in the park, a summer concert and more scheduled for June, July and August.
