A man was arrested early this morning on suspicion of burglary at Smythe Academy of Arts and Sciences in the Gardenland/Northgate neighborhood.
At about 1:30 a.m. today, August 4 Twin Rivers Police dispatch received an alarm at the school, located at 2781 Northgate Blvd.
Officers were dispatched to the school. When officers arrived on scene, they detained an adult male on the north side of the school.
Review of the school surveillance system showed the adult male suspect inside a classroom.
The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and transported to the Sacramento County Jail.
