Four Wounded in Drive-by Shooting on Saturday

Sacramento Police are investigating a drive-by shooting which injured four people early Saturday morning in Natomas.

At about 1:10 a.m. on Oct. 31, officers were dispatched to a shooting that had just occurred on the 2800 block of Normington Drive, west of Northgate Boulevard.

According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect(s) drove down the street and fired at a residence.

Four people were hit by gunfire, police said. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

“The motive is unknown at this point and we do not have a suspect description to release,” said a police spokesperson.

Officers canvassed the area; the investigation is ongoing.
