Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep seniors and their families “cruised” through the high school’s parking lot Friday, May 15 to pick up caps and gowns, honors and awards, and yearbooks.

Several students arrived in cars decorated for the occasion and were cheered by teachers, staff and school administrators dressed festively and holding signs. Lively music accompanied the procession.

NP3 High plans to hold a drive-thru graduation event later this month on Saturday, May 30. The school’s traditional in-person senior awards ceremony and commencement were both canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Natomas Unified School District has virtual graduation ceremonies planned for Discovery High, Natomas High, Inderkum and Leroy Greene Academy on Thursday, May 21. The online ceremonies will be broadcast on YouTube and also available to view on Comcast Channels 15 and 16, Consolidated Channels 21 and 22, and AT&T Channels 14 and 99.

The ceremonies will also be live-streamed on the Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium’s website. For graduation times and more information, visit the Natomas Unified School District website.

At press time, plans for Natomas Charter School graduation scheduled for Friday, June 5 were not available.
