District One Director of Constituent Affairs Brandon Black shared the response Councilmember Angelique Ashby’s office received from the city Parks Department:

“The construction of the amphitheater at the regional park is a part of the phase 6 project, which is expected to be complete by the end of December.  There is a 90-day landscape maintenance period on the project for turf and landscaping establishment, which means that the project will not be usable to the public until late March 2016, when the project is accepted and the construction fencing is removed.”

The developed portion of North Natomas Regional Park is bound by North Park Drive, Natomas Boulevard and New Market Drive.

Entrance to the 47.3-acre park is located at Via Ingoglia and New Market Drive and features ball fields, bikeways, dog parks, farmers’ market, picnic areas, a playground and spray area.
