Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 8:

16-007017 (Burglary): 2500 block of Marta Bella Way at 1450 hours.
The residents were away from their home for multiple days when unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the home. The suspect(s) forced entry through a rear sliding door and stole miscellaneous property from the residence. The investigation remains active.


16-007336 (Family Disturbance): 100 block of Arnold Gamble Cir at 1952 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a family disturbance. One family member was intoxicated and was driven home by another family member (suspect). The suspect returned a short time later armed with a handgun to check on the intoxicated man. A fight ensued and the suspect brandished the firearm at the intoxicated family member. No injuries were reported. Officers arrived on scene and safely detained the armed man who was ultimately arrested for assault.


16-007504 (Missing Person): 600 block of Candela Cir at 2349 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a missing person 16-year-old who has ran away in the past. Officers checked the area for the missing person. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 7:

16-005619 (Bait Bike Arrest): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 0152 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding the theft of an SPD bait bicycle. Officers arrived on scene and located 26-year-old Jacob Maxey in possession of the stolen bike. Maxey was safely detained and was ultimately arrested for possession of burglary tools, theft, and an outstanding warrant.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 5:

16-004305 (Vehicle Collision-City Involved ): San Juan Rd / Bridgeford Dr at 1546 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the above area when they were struck by a citizen vehicle. No major injuries were reported. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 4:

16-002835 (Missing Person): 3100 block of Tolliver St at 0413 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a missing person. Upon arrival officers conducted follow-up and have not yet located the subject. A report was generated.


16-003674 (Assault): 3700 block of Pell Cir at 2314 hours.
Officers responded to this location regarding an argument between family members. The suspects attempted to assault the victim with a vehicle. Then one of the suspects stabbed the victim, causing minor injury. Officers later located and arrested the suspects for assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.
